Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Arthrella is a proprietary Ayurvedic herbomineral formulation developed by Charak Pharmaceuticals for the management of arthritic conditions, joint pain, and muscular discomfort. It is available in two forms: an oral tablet and a topical ointment. The oral tablet contains key ingredients such as Shallaki (*Boswellia serrata*), Nirgundi (*Vitex negundo*), Shyonak (*Oroxylum indicum*), and Suvarna Bhasma (gold calx), which collectively exert anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and immunomodulatory effects to minimize joint stiffness, reduce swelling, and retard joint destruction. The topical ointment contains counter-irritants and anti-inflammatory herbs like Gandhapura taila (oil of wintergreen), Pudina pushpa (menthol), and Karpura (camphor) to provide immediate local pain relief and restore joint mobility. Arthrella is indicated for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, cervical spondylosis, and other musculoskeletal disorders.
