Overview
ArthroLexin is a proprietary botanical nutraceutical ingredient developed by Unigen, Inc., specifically formulated for joint health and cartilage support. It is a combination of two other Unigen ingredients: Univestin (a blend of *Scutellaria baicalensis* and *Acacia catechu*) and AmLexin (a blend of *Morus alba* and *Acacia catechu*). The product exerts a dual-action mechanism: Univestin targets the cyclooxygenase (COX) and lipoxygenase (LOX) pathways to alleviate joint discomfort and improve mobility, while AmLexin provides chondroprotection by reducing the breakdown of type II collagen, as evidenced by reductions in the uCTX-II biomarker. Clinical studies suggest that ArthroLexin can promote joint flexibility within 3 days and support overall physical function within 7 days. It is marketed as a dietary supplement for oral consumption.
