ArthroPaint is a medical device and regenerative bioink system developed by Cells for Cells in partnership with MedXCell. It is designed for the direct, in situ 3D bioprinting of living tissues to repair articular cartilage defects in the knee and ankle. The system utilizes a specialized arthroscopic applicator to deliver bioinks with regenerative capabilities directly to the lesion site, allowing for controlled deposition and faithful reconstruction of subchondral bone and hyaline cartilage. This minimally invasive approach aims to provide a definitive solution for complete restoration of damaged cartilage while ensuring reproducibility of clinical results.
