Overview

Arthrys is a biologic product composed of collagen hydrolyzed peptides, currently being investigated for the treatment of plantar fasciitis. Administered via local infiltration (injection) near the heel spur, the product consists of small protein fragments derived from collagen that are intended to promote tissue repair and regeneration within the plantar fascia. In clinical studies conducted by the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Consorziale Policlinico di Bari, Arthrys is being evaluated both as a standalone therapy and in combination with extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) to improve pain scores (Numeric Rating Scale) and functional outcomes (American Foot and Ankle Society score).
