Overview

**ArtiAid** is a brand of intra-articular hyaluronic acid injection developed by Maxigen Biotech Inc. for viscosupplementation in osteoarthritis treatment. It is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, non-inflammatory device containing highly purified sodium hyaluronate (1.0%, molecular weight 600,000–1,200,000 Dalton) produced via bacterial fermentation, administered as a 5-dose regimen (typically 2–3.5 mL per dose) to alleviate knee pain, improve joint function, and protect cartilage in patients unresponsive to conservative therapies. ArtiAid mimics synovial fluid, facilitating nutrient transport to cartilage cells, and is CE- and TFDA-certified with demonstrated efficacy in clinical studies for knee osteoarthritis and trapeziometacarpal osteoarthritis.[1][3][5][11]
