Overview
Artificial Liushen Pill (人工六神丸) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) developed and manufactured by Changshu Leiyunshang Pharmaceutical. It is a modern variation of the classic Liushen Pill formulation, substituting rare and regulated natural musk with artificial musk, while retaining other traditional active ingredients such as realgar and toad venom. The formulation is widely used in China for its heat-clearing, detoxicating, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic properties. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of acute tonsillitis, pharyngitis, sore throat, and various inflammatory skin conditions such as boils and carbuncles.
