Overview

arTreg-CSB is an autologous regulatory T cell (Treg) therapy developed for use in solid organ transplantation, specifically to facilitate immunosuppression withdrawal in liver transplant recipients. The product consists of ex vivo expanded regulatory T cells derived from the patient, which are then infused back into the recipient. The primary mechanism is immune modulation through enhancement of immune tolerance, aiming to reduce or eliminate the need for long-term immunosuppressive drugs and promote operational tolerance of the transplanted organ[6][8]. This approach leverages the natural suppressive function of Tregs to prevent graft rejection while minimizing adverse effects associated with chronic immunosuppression.
