Arum palaestinum aqueous extract is a plant-derived research compound obtained from *Arum palaestinum Boiss*, a perennial herb native to the Mediterranean Basin. The extract contains a complex mixture of bioactive constituents, including flavonoids (such as isoorientin, vitexin, and vicenin II), phenolic acids, saponin glycosides, and tannins. It is primarily studied for its potential in treating hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), where it has been shown to inhibit the PI3K-AKT-mTOR signaling pathway, reduce alpha-fetoprotein (αFP) secretion, and induce a shift from necrosis to apoptosis. Beyond its anticancer properties, the extract demonstrates antimicrobial activity against pathogens such as *P. vulgaris* and *E. faecium*, and anticoagulant effects characterized by the prolongation of activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) and thrombin time (TT). Currently, it remains in the research phase, largely driven by academic institutions like An-Najah National University, and is not yet a commercial pharmaceutical product.
