ARX790

ARX790 is a clinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), engineered to deliver a cytotoxic payload selectively to HER2-expressing tumor cells. It consists of a monoclonal antibody directed against HER2 conjugated via a cleavable linker to a potent microtubule-disrupting small-molecule payload, enabling internalization into HER2-positive cells, lysosomal release of the drug, and induction of cell-cycle arrest and apoptosis. Developed for the treatment of HER2-positive solid tumors (including breast and gastric cancers), ARX790 is positioned as a next-generation HER2-directed ADC with the aim of achieving improved antitumor activity and a differentiated safety profile relative to earlier HER2-targeted therapies.
