AS1601 is a monoclonal antibody candidate developed by Zhongke Aishen Pharmaceutical that targets Decoy Receptor 3 (DcR3), also known as TNFRSF6B. DcR3 is a soluble member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) superfamily that is frequently overexpressed in various malignant tumors. It acts as a decoy receptor by binding to and neutralizing ligands such as FasL, LIGHT, and TL1A, which are essential for inducing apoptosis and maintaining immune surveillance. By sequestering these ligands, DcR3 facilitates tumor immune escape and promotes cancer cell survival. AS1601 is designed to bind and neutralize soluble DcR3, thereby restoring the pro-apoptotic signaling pathways and enhancing the anti-tumor immune response. It is primarily being investigated for the treatment of solid tumors.
