AS1901

AS1901 is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor developed by Zhongke Aishen Pharmaceutical (also known as Amshenn) for the treatment of cancer. The drug targets Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha-Induced Protein 8-like 2 (TIPE2), which serves as a critical negative regulator of both innate and adaptive immune responses. TIPE2 is often overexpressed in the tumor microenvironment, where it contributes to immune evasion by suppressing the activity of T cells and myeloid cells. By inhibiting TIPE2, AS1901 aims to relieve this immune suppression and enhance the body's natural anti-tumor immune response. This mechanism represents a novel approach to immunotherapy, potentially acting as a new class of immune checkpoint inhibitor.
