Overview

ASC103 is a ROBO1-targeted natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by Ascle Therapeutics using the NK-92 cell line platform. It is specifically designed for the treatment of lung cancer by leveraging the cytotoxic potential of NK cells against tumor cells expressing the Roundabout guidance receptor 1 (ROBO1). ROBO1 is a transmembrane protein involved in cell migration and is frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors, contributing to tumor progression and metastasis. By engineering NK-92 cells to target ROBO1, ASC103 aims to induce targeted tumor cell lysis through NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity. The candidate is currently in the pre-IND (Investigational New Drug) stage of development.
