Overview

ASC30_39FDC is an investigational small molecule fixed-dose combination (FDC) therapy being developed by Ascletis Pharma for the treatment of obesity. The combination targets two key metabolic pathways: the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) and the amylin receptor (specifically via a Small-molecule Amylin Receptor Agonist, or SARA). By combining these two mechanisms into a single formulation, the therapy aims to achieve superior weight loss and metabolic benefits compared to monotherapy through synergistic appetite suppression and improved glucose regulation. As of 2024, the program is in the discovery phase.
