ASC31 is a novel dual agonist targeting both glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor (GLP-1R) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide receptor (GIPR). It is developed by Ascletis Pharma for the treatment of obesity. ASC31 demonstrates favorable pharmacokinetics in non-human primates and promising efficacy in diet-induced obese mice. It is part of Ascletis' Ultra-Long-Acting Platform (ULAP) for injectable peptides.
