Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ASC51 is an orally bioavailable, once-daily small molecule degrader targeting Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 6 (STAT6). Developed by Ascletis Pharma, the drug is designed to treat various immune-mediated diseases. STAT6 is a key transcription factor in the IL-4/IL-13 signaling pathway, which plays a central role in Type 2 inflammation. By degrading STAT6 rather than just inhibiting it, ASC51 aims to provide more potent and durable suppression of inflammatory responses compared to traditional inhibitors. It is currently in the discovery phase.
