ASC930 is a cell therapy consisting of placenta-derived decidual stromal cells (DSCs) isolated from the fetal membrane of maternal origin. Developed by ASC Therapeutics, these stromal cells possess potent immunosuppressive and immunomodulatory properties, making them a candidate for treating immune-triggered conditions like acute Graft-versus-Host Disease (aGVHD). In aGVHD, ASC930 is intended to reduce profound immune dysregulation and organ dysfunction by modulating T-cell activity and inflammatory cytokine production. The therapy is administered intravenously and is currently being evaluated in patients with steroid-refractory acute Graft-versus-Host Disease.
