Ascophyllum nodosum is a brown macroalga (seaweed) widely utilized in agriculture, animal nutrition, and human health. As a biostimulant, its extracts enhance crop yield and resilience against abiotic stresses like salinity, drought, and heavy metal toxicity by modulating physiological and biochemical pathways, including antioxidant defense and nutrient uptake.
