ASD141 is a novel innate immune checkpoint inhibitor developed as a monoclonal antibody targeting the CD11b subunit of the Mac-1 receptor (integrin alpha M). By blocking CD11b, ASD141 reverses immune suppression in the tumor microenvironment, reinvigorates antigen-presenting cells, and enhances both innate and adaptive immune responses against solid tumors. Preclinical studies have shown that it reduces immunosuppressive myeloid cells and increases co-stimulatory molecules such as CD80/CD86 and MHC class II on myeloid cells. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for advanced solid tumors[1][2][3][4][5][7].
