Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ASF-1075 is a non-steroidal topical anti-inflammatory cream developed by Astion Danmark A/S for the treatment and prevention of contact dermatitis. The drug was specifically investigated in Phase 2 clinical trials for its efficacy in mitigating nickel-induced contact dermatitis in adults with known nickel allergies. ASF-1075 is part of Astion's 'ASF' (Astion Skin Factor) series of compounds, which are designed to provide anti-inflammatory effects without the side-effect profile associated with topical corticosteroids. In clinical studies, it has been compared against both vehicle controls and potent corticosteroids like betamethasone 17-valerate to assess its relative potency and safety in preventing allergic skin reactions.
