Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Asia Anti-Snake Antivenom is a polyvalent antivenom candidate being developed by Inosan Biopharma for the treatment of snake envenomation in Asia. The therapeutic consists of equine-derived F(ab')2 immunoglobulin fragments designed to neutralize a broad spectrum of snake venom toxins. By binding to these toxins, the antivenom prevents them from interacting with their physiological targets, thereby mitigating the systemic and local effects of envenomation. The product is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
