Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ASK0015 is a recombinant fusion protein developed by Jiangsu Aosaikang Pharmaceutical for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. The molecule is designed with a dual-functional mechanism: it incorporates a PD-1 targeting domain that acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor and an Interleukin-15 (IL-15) cytokine component. By binding to PD-1, ASK0015 blocks the inhibitory PD-1/PD-L1 pathway, thereby revitalizing exhausted T cells. Simultaneously, the IL-15 moiety functions as a potent cytokine agonist, promoting the proliferation and activation of natural killer (NK) cells and CD8+ effector T cells within the tumor microenvironment. This synergistic approach aims to enhance the anti-tumor immune response and overcome resistance associated with monotherapeutic checkpoint blockade. ASK0015 is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation.
