Overview

ASKB315 is a recombinant human interleukin-15 (IL-15)/IL-15 receptor alpha (IL-15Rα) sushi domain-Fc fusion protein developed by Aosaikang Pharma. It functions as an IL-15 superagonist designed to enhance anti-tumor immunity by selectively stimulating the proliferation and activation of cytotoxic CD8+ T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. By fusing IL-15 with the sushi domain of its alpha receptor and an Fc fragment, ASKB315 achieves significantly improved pharmacokinetic properties, including increased stability and a prolonged half-life compared to native IL-15. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, where it aims to overcome the limitations of traditional cytokine therapies.
