Overview

ASKG129 is a recombinant fusion protein drug candidate developed by AskGene Pharma. It is designed as an anti-PD-1 antibody/interleukin-12 (IL-12) prodrug fusion molecule, combining the immune checkpoint blockade of PD-1 inhibition with the immunostimulatory effects of IL-12. The mechanism aims to enhance antitumor immune responses by simultaneously blocking PD-1-mediated immunosuppression and delivering IL-12 activity to stimulate T-cell function within the tumor microenvironment. The drug is being developed for cancer therapy, particularly solid tumors, using AskGene's SmartKine platform[1][2][3].
