Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ASM0015 (also known as ASM-0015) is a preclinical-stage small molecule antibacterial therapeutic being developed by Amtix Bio in collaboration with Seoul National University. The drug is designed to target multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacterial infections, with a specific focus on Carbapenem-resistant *Acinetobacter baumannii* (CRAB), a high-priority pathogen identified by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). ASM0015 is being developed under a South Korean government-funded research and development project (2023–2024) aimed at addressing the critical global challenge of refractory multidrug-resistant bacterial infections.
