Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Asmagon is a proprietary Ayurvedic polyherbal formulation developed by AVN Ayurveda Formulations for the management of respiratory disorders. It is an adaptation of the classical Ayurvedic medicine Agastya Rasayanam and contains concentrated aqueous extracts of herbs such as Dashamoola, Pippali (Piper longum), Bhringaraja (Eclipta alba), and Haritaki (Terminalia chebula). The formulation is indicated for bronchial asthma, chronic cough, and as an adjuvant in tuberculosis and primary complex. It functions as a bronchodilator, anti-inflammatory, mucolytic, and anti-tussive agent, while also modulating the immune response to allergens and building resistance against respiratory pathogens.
