Overview

ASN300 is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody therapeutic originally developed by Arsanis, Inc. for the treatment and prevention of serious infections caused by *Klebsiella pneumoniae*. The drug is designed to target specific virulence factors or surface antigens of the pathogen to neutralize its effects and enhance immune-mediated clearance. ASN300 was part of Arsanis's broader pipeline of anti-infective antibodies targeting multi-drug resistant Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. Following the merger of Arsanis with X4 Pharmaceuticals in 2019, the development of the Arsanis anti-infective portfolio, including ASN300, was largely deprioritized.
