Asolevo M is a fixed-dose combination pharmaceutical product developed and marketed by A.S. Pharmaceutical (India) Private Limited. It contains two active ingredients: levocetirizine (5 mg) and montelukast (10 mg). Levocetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine that acts as a potent and selective antagonist of peripheral H1 receptors, effectively reducing symptoms such as sneezing, itching, and watery eyes. Montelukast is a selective leukotriene receptor antagonist that inhibits the cysteinyl leukotriene receptor CysLT1, which helps to reduce airway inflammation, edema, and nasal congestion.
