Overview

ASP4396 is a novel small molecule degrader targeting the KRAS G12D mutant protein. It is being developed by Astellas Pharma as a potential treatment for solid tumors harboring the KRAS G12D mutation, including metastatic and unresectable cancers. The drug works by promoting degradation of the mutant KRAS G12D protein, thereby inhibiting its oncogenic signaling pathway. ASP4396 is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and to determine an appropriate dosing regimen in adults with advanced or metastatic solid tumors with confirmed KRAS G12D mutations[1][3][4][5][10].
