ASP7035

ASP7035 is an oral small-molecule acetamide urologic drug that acts as a selective vasopressin V2 receptor (AVPR2) agonist, developed primarily for the treatment of nocturia associated with nocturnal polyuria by enhancing renal water reabsorption to reduce nocturnal urine volume.[1][5][7] The compound was originally discovered by Astellas Pharma and later licensed to the virtual company Tacurion Pharma, which advanced it into phase II proof‑of‑concept studies in patients with nocturia.[1][4][5][11] ASP7035 is formulated as a film‑coated tablet and represents a non‑peptide AVPR2 agonist alternative to desmopressin for pharmacologic management of nocturnal polyuria.[1][2][3][5][7]
