Aspirin + methotrexate is a combination of two small molecule drugs, each with distinct mechanisms of action. Methotrexate is an antimetabolite and disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) that inhibits dihydrofolate reductase, interfering with folic acid metabolism to exert immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory effects.
