Astatine At 211 OKT10-B10 is a radioimmunotherapy agent consisting of the monoclonal antibody OKT10-B10 conjugated to the alpha-emitting radionuclide astatine-211. The antibody component (OKT10-B10) specifically targets CD38, a cell surface antigen highly expressed on multiple myeloma and other hematologic malignancy cells. Upon administration, the drug binds to CD38-positive tumor cells and delivers targeted alpha radiation via astatine-211, resulting in potent cytotoxicity through double-stranded DNA breaks and cell death. This approach allows for selective eradication of malignant plasma cells while sparing most normal tissues. The drug is under investigation primarily for use as part of conditioning regimens prior to autologous or allogeneic stem cell transplantation in patients with multiple myeloma and related disorders[2][3][4][5][8].
