Overview

Astha-15 (DCBT4567-Astha-15) is a polyherbal formulation developed for the management of reversible bronchial asthma. It is derived from a combination of medicinal plants traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine, including extracts from *Adhatoda vasica*, *Glycyrrhiza glabra*, and *Solanum xanthocarpum*. In clinical trials, Astha-15 has demonstrated efficacy in improving lung function, specifically increasing forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1), and significantly reducing clinical symptoms such as dyspnoea, wheezing, cough, and expectoration. Its performance has been shown to be comparable to conventional bronchodilators like salbutamol, while also enhancing the overall quality of life for patients with asthma.
