Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Astracitron Phyto is a herbal dietary supplement developed and manufactured by the Ukrainian pharmaceutical company Astrapharm. It is formulated as a powder in sachets for the preparation of an oral solution. The product is designed to support the immune system and improve the functional state of the upper respiratory tract during seasonal viral infections and colds. Its composition typically includes a blend of plant extracts, such as ginger root (Zingiber officinale), linden blossom (Tilia cordata), elderberry fruit (Sambucus nigra), and rosehip (Rosa canina), supplemented with Vitamin C (ascorbic acid). These ingredients provide a combination of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and diaphoretic properties, helping to alleviate symptoms associated with respiratory distress and boosting the body's natural defenses. Unlike the standard Astracitron product line, the Phyto version does not contain synthetic analgesic or antipyretic agents like paracetamol.
