Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**ASY-77A** is a monoclonal antibody developed by Asylia Therapeutics that targets the extracellular form of Heat shock protein 70 (HSP70), enhancing antigen presentation to dendritic cells (DCs) and activating anti-tumor immune responses. By promoting the uptake of tumor-derived antigens bound to HSP70 by DCs, it induces killer T-cell responses, leading to complete tumor regression in preclinical models of solid tumors like breast and colon cancer, as well as hematologic malignancies such as multiple myeloma. The antibody is antigen-agnostic, potentially combinable with checkpoint inhibitors, vaccines, and other therapies, and is currently undergoing humanization for first-in-human trials.[1][2][4][16]
