Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AT-001 is a preclinical antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Adept Biopharmaceutical for the treatment of PD-L1-positive solid tumors. The molecule consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting Programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (PD-L1) conjugated to a cytotoxic payload. By binding to PD-L1, which is often upregulated in various cancers to facilitate immune evasion, AT-001 delivers its toxic cargo directly into the tumor microenvironment. This approach is specifically intended for patients with metastatic or unresectable disease who have previously received and progressed on PD-1 or PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitor therapies, aiming to overcome acquired resistance to standard immunotherapy.
