AT1636 is an experimental **monoclonal antibody** developed by AIMM Therapeutics for oncology applications, particularly colorectal cancer. It was isolated from a patient with Lynch syndrome and binds a **cancer-specific glyco-modified antigen**, identified as a previously undescribed **O-mannosylated 70 kDa form of E-cadherin** expressed on tumor cells. This makes AT1636 a targeted biologic directed against a tumor-associated post-translationally modified form of E-cadherin rather than canonical broadly expressed E-cadherin. Preclinical work suggests this antigen may be involved in tumor invasion and metastasis, and AT1636 has been proposed as the basis for therapeutic development in colorectal cancer; a CD3-bispecific derivative of AT1636 has also shown tumor-cell killing in colorectal cancer cell lines.
