Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Atezolizumab + BDB001 + radiotherapy is an investigational combination therapy being studied for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including pancreatic adenocarcinoma. Atezolizumab is a monoclonal antibody that targets programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), blocking its interaction with PD-1 and B7.1 receptors to enhance antitumor immune responses. BDB001 is a first-in-class Toll-like receptor 7/8 (TLR7/8) agonist designed to stimulate innate immunity and promote antitumor activity by activating dendritic cells and other immune cells. Radiotherapy (specifically stereotactic body radiation therapy, SBRT) is used to induce immunogenic cell death and further enhance the immune response against tumors. The combination aims to synergistically boost both innate and adaptive immunity for improved cancer control[1][2][3][4][7].
