Overview
**Atezolizumab + bevacizumab + carboplatin + pemetrexed** is an investigational four-drug co-administration regimen evaluated as Arm A of the Fox Chase Cancer Center-led randomized Phase II TH-138 study in stage IV nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer. The regimen combines PD-L1 checkpoint blockade with atezolizumab, VEGF-A neutralization with bevacizumab, DNA-damaging platinum chemotherapy with carboplatin, and antifolate chemotherapy with pemetrexed. It was studied in patients with sensitizing EGFR mutations following progression on or intolerance to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors, or in never-smokers with tumors lacking EGFR, ALK, and ROS1 alterations.
