Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination drug regimen consisting of three separate agents: **atezolizumab**, **bevacizumab**, and **fulvestrant**. - **Atezolizumab** is a monoclonal antibody immunotherapy that blocks PD-L1, an immune checkpoint, restoring T cell–mediated immune surveillance against tumor cells. - **Bevacizumab** is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), thereby impeding tumor angiogenesis. - **Fulvestrant** is an estrogen receptor antagonist used primarily in hormone receptor–positive breast cancer; it functions by degrading and blocking the estrogen receptor. While **atezolizumab + bevacizumab** is an established and FDA-approved regimen for unresectable or advanced hepatocellular carcinoma, there is limited or no evidence that the specific triple combination with fulvestrant has been approved or is widely used in clinical practice. The combination would theoretically provide multifaceted antitumor activity: immune checkpoint inhibition, blocking angiogenesis, and hormonal receptor targeting. Any usage of this combination would likely be for research purposes in cancers involving both immune, angiogenic, and hormone signaling pathways, most notably certain subtypes of breast cancer or in clinical trial settings.
