Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination of four distinct cancer medications: atezolizumab (a PD-L1 inhibitor), docetaxel (a taxane chemotherapy agent), nivolumab and pembrolizumab (both PD-1 inhibitors). While these drugs have been studied in various combinations (such as atezolizumab plus docetaxel), there is no standard regimen that combines all four agents simultaneously. Atezolizumab (Tecentriq) is a monoclonal antibody that targets PD-L1. Docetaxel is a cytotoxic chemotherapy agent. Nivolumab and pembrolizumab are both PD-1 inhibitors that function as immune checkpoint inhibitors.
