Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination of three immune checkpoint inhibitors that work through similar but distinct mechanisms. Atezolizumab is a PD-L1 inhibitor, while nivolumab and pembrolizumab are PD-1 inhibitors. These drugs prevent the interaction between PD-1 and PD-L1, removing inhibition of immune responses seen in some cancers. They are primarily used in the treatment of various cancers including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), melanoma, and other malignancies.
