Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ATG-101 is a novel investigational bispecific antibody that targets both programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) and 4-1BB (CD137). It is designed to block the immunosuppressive interaction between PD-1 and PD-L1, while conditionally stimulating 4-1BB, a co-stimulatory receptor on T cells. This dual mechanism aims to enhance anti-tumor immune responses by activating exhausted T cells in the tumor microenvironment, potentially improving efficacy and safety compared to previous 4-1BB agonists. The drug is being developed primarily for cancer indications, including pancreatic cancer[2][3][5][6].
