Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AtG-153 is an orally available small molecule inhibitor developed by AtG Therapeutics. It targets Tumor Adaptation Factor 1 (TA-1), an enzyme overexpressed in aggressive, therapy-resistant tumors. By inhibiting TA-1, AtG-153 exploits adaptive synthetic lethality to selectively eliminate resistant cancer cells while sparing normal cells. The drug is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including renal cell carcinoma, colorectal cancer, and breast cancer.
