Overview
ATH-003 is an early-stage targeted immunotherapy being developed by Athernal Bio for the treatment of age-related clonal haematopoiesis (CH) in adults over 65. Clonal haematopoiesis occurs when mutated hematopoietic stem cells expand, increasing the risk of hematological malignancies such as acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and cardiovascular diseases. ATH-003 is designed to train the immune system to detect and eliminate these mutated stem cells, thereby addressing the precursor condition before cancer becomes established. The specific molecular target and detailed mechanism of action for ATH-003 have not been publicly disclosed.
