Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ATI-107 is an investigational lipid nanoparticle (LNP) co-formulation platform designed to enhance the systemic delivery of existing LNP-based messenger RNA (mRNA) and other nucleic acid therapeutics while mitigating LNP-induced inflammation. Developed by Adjuvia Therapeutics, ATI-107 incorporates the company's proprietary, blood-brain barrier (BBB)-penetrant astaxanthin lipid nanoparticle technology. By integrating astaxanthin—a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory molecule—into existing commercial LNPs, ATI-107 aims to suppress reactive oxygen species (ROS) and inhibit NF-kappa-B-mediated inflammatory signaling. This approach is intended to address the unwanted immune activation and dose-limiting toxicities that often restrict the clinical utility, repeat administration, and tissue distribution of non-viral LNP gene therapies, vaccines, and immunotherapies.
