ATL-105

ATL-105 is a recombinant alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) inhaler therapeutic being developed by AATec Medical. It is a human serine protease inhibitor with broad anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, and anti-infective properties. The drug is delivered directly to the lungs through a novel protein inhalation approach, which maximizes therapeutic effectiveness at the primary site of inflammation while minimizing systemic side effects. ATL-105 will initially be developed for the treatment of non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis (NCFB), a chronic inflammatory respiratory disease without any causative therapies.
