Overview

ATLCAR (Autologous T Lymphocyte Chimeric Antigen Receptor) is a cell therapy platform developed by the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, primarily targeting CD30-positive malignancies. The platform includes two main constructs: ATLCAR.CD30, which expresses a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) against the CD30 antigen (TNFRSF8), and ATLCAR.CD30.CCR4, which additionally expresses the C-C motif chemokine receptor 4 (CCR4). The inclusion of CCR4 is designed to enhance the homing and infiltration of the CAR-T cells into tumor tissues, particularly in lymphomas with cutaneous involvement. These autologous therapies are currently in Phase I/II clinical development for various lymphomas, including relapsed or refractory Hodgkin lymphoma and cutaneous T-cell lymphomas.
