Overview

ATLCAR.CD30.CCR4 cells are autologous T-lymphocytes (patient's own T cells) that have been genetically engineered to express two key components: a **CD30 Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR)** which targets CD30, a surface antigen present on lymphoma cells, and **CCR4 (C-C chemokine receptor type 4)**, a chemokine receptor that functions as a navigation system, directing the modified T cells toward tumor cells. The dual expression of CD30 CAR and CCR4 is designed to enhance the ability of these modified T cells to locate and destroy cancer cells. The CD30 CAR allows the T cells to recognize and bind to CD30-positive lymphoma cells, while the CCR4 receptor improves their tumor-homing capabilities.
