ATLX-1095 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Alchemab Therapeutics that targets multiple forms of mutant huntingtin protein (mHTT), the pathogenic protein in Huntington's disease. The antibody was discovered from individuals resilient to neurodegeneration and is designed to bind both soluble and aggregated forms of mHTT, including high molecular weight aggregates. Preclinical studies show that ATLX-1095 can immunoprecipitate various species of mHTT, reduce the rate of aggregation in seeding assays, and increase phagocytosis of mHTT by human microglia.
