ATM siRNA is a small interfering RNA designed to target and silence the expression of ataxia-telangiectasia mutated (ATM) kinase. ATM is a serine/threonine protein kinase that plays a central role in the DNA damage response (DDR) pathway, coordinating DNA double-strand break repair, cell cycle checkpoints, and apoptosis. Silencing ATM with siRNA is widely used in preclinical research to sensitize cancer cells to DNA-damaging agents (such as chemotherapy and radiation) and to study the role of the ATM pathway in cellular processes like oocyte development and aging.
